WW - Patek Philippe Calatrava, Genève, circa 1940s, manual wind, 30mm x 37mm to lug tips, 16mm lug width, original 18K rose gold snap back case with tear drop lugs, no strap, refinished salmon dial with applied rose indices and subsidiary seconds at 6, 18J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, case s#634294, movement s#901327, triple signed. A small sized Patek with a great look. Gross weight of assembled watch 14.5 dwt (22.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, ticks for several seconds then stops, will require a watchmaker's overhaul, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, light micro-fine scratches to plates, very light oxide to steelwork; fine refinished dial with light surface spotting as well as an even discoloration and wear at perimeter; excellent gold hands with light spotting; polished case shows little wear, strong lugs and crisp hallmarks, no dents or dings; replacement crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal.
